Nicholas Frappell brings many years of experience in precious metals, both as a trader of spot, forwards and exchange traded futures, and latterly as a marketer to producers, consumers in the automobile, electronics, and petroleum sectors, and hedge funds.

Nicholas worked previously for Mitsui and Co. Precious Metals Inc. in their Hong Kong office where he grew the Australian producer hedge book and precious metals leasing business, and prior to that for the London office. He was formerly manager of Precious Metals for Triland Metals, and RBS Sempra Commodities in London, and before that Sumitomo Corporation where he gained experience in London in commodity finance in the Middle East and in Tokyo where he engaged in arbitrage of TOCOM gold futures.

During his time in London, Nicholas was twice a member of the London Bullion Market Association’s Management Committee, a member of the Finance Committee, and until February was Chairman of the Association’s Membership Committee.

James Rickards is the Editor of Strategic Intelligence a financial newsletter. He is the New York Times bestselling author of The New Great Depression (2021), Aftermath (2019), The Road to Ruin (2016), The New Case for Gold (2016), The Death of Money (2014), and Currency Wars (2011) from Penguin Random House. He is an investment advisor, lawyer, inventor, and economist, and has held senior positions at Citibank, Long-Term Capital Management, and Caxton Associates. In 1998, he was the principal negotiator of the rescue of LTCM sponsored by the Federal Reserve.

His clients include institutional investors and government directorates. He is an op-ed contributor to the Financial Times, Evening Standard, The Telegraph, New York Times, and Washington Post. Mr. Rickards is a guest lecturer in globalization and finance at The Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, Trinity College Dublin, the U.S. Army War College, the National Defense University, and the School of Advanced International Studies.

He has presented papers on risk at the Applied Physics Laboratory, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He is an advisor on capital markets to the U.S. intelligence community, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mr. Rickards holds an LL.M. (Taxation) from the NYU School of Law; a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School; an M.A. in international economics from SAIS, and a B.A. (with honors) from Johns Hopkins.

Preserving wealth in an uncertain world

Emeritus Professor Ian Plimer is Australia’s best-known geologist. He was Professor at Adelaide, Melbourne and Newcastle Universities and on the staff at New England, NSW and Macquarie Universities. He has published more than 140 scientific papers, 12 books and was one of the 3 editors of the 5-volume Encyclopedia of Geology. He has been director of ASX, TSX and AIM companies for 25 years and is now director of various Hancock Prospecting companies including Roy Hill and Atlas Iron.

Andrew Munckton is an experienced geologist who has held senior management roles of both ASX-listed companies and gold operations in a career spanning more than 30 years.

Most recently, Andrew was Managing Director of a junior gold and base metals exploration and development company, Syndicated Metals Limited. His recent focus at Syndicated has been on leading the acquisition and exploration of the Monument Gold Project in Western Australia which is adjacent to Dacian Gold’s Mount Morgans gold mine. In this role he has had responsibility for overseeing exploration programs, feasibility studies, project assessments and acquisition, project divestments, joint ventures, capital raisings and general corporate strategy.

Andrew has also held the roles of Managing Director of Avalon Minerals, General Manager – Operations for Gindalbie Metals, General Manager Strategic Development of Placer Dome Asia Pacific and General Manager Operations of the Kanowna Belle, Paddington and Kundana gold mines over a period of 10 years.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of Western Australia and is currently a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Andrew previously served as a director of Syndicated Metals Limited until he resigned on 26 April 2018.

Born with dual Swiss/Swedish citizenship, Egon’s education was mainly in Sweden.

Egon began his professional life in Geneva as a banker and thereafter spent 17 years as the Finance Director and Executive Vice-Chairman of Dixons Group Plc. During that time, Dixons expanded from a small photographic retailer to a FTSE 100 company and the largest consumer electronics retailer in the UK.

Oklo Resources (ASX:OKU)

Oklo resources’ licences cover the highly prospective greenstone belts in Mali, West Africa, with a total landholding of 1,405km2. The Company’s focus is on its West Mali landholding (~505km2), and in particular its flagship Dandoko Project located east of the prolific Senegal-Mali Shear Zone and in close proximity to numerous world-class gold operations, with the Company retaining a 20% interest in its south Mali projects (~675km2) through a joint venture with Marvel Gold Limited (ASX:MVL).

The Company has reported a robust initial JORC 2012 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 11.3Mt at 1.83g/t gold for 668.5kOz contained gold at its flagship Dandoko Project in West Mali with 79% of the MRE classified in Measured and Indicated category which remains open and is expected to grow with ongoing drilling along strike and at depth.


Mr Taylor is a geologist with over 25 years’ experience in exploration, project assessment and development in the resources sector. He has had a diversified career as a resources professional providing services to resource companies and financial corporations. His experience spans a range of commodities including gold, fertilisers (phosphate and potash), base metals, nickel, uranium, coal and coal seam methane. Whilst his experience includes Australia a majority of his projects have been in countries including Brazil, Turkey, Uganda, Tanzania, Mali, China, UK and North America.

His experience includes providing consulting services to resource companies and financial corporations as a resource analyst. His analytical and technical expertise, combined with his corporate experience have given him an ability to advise companies at a corporate and Board level including fund raising, acquisitions, promotion and recognising value opportunities to add shareholder value.



Tietto is focused on fast-tracking the development of the Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, targeting first gold in Q4 CY2022.

In October 2021, Tietto completed the Abujar Gold Project Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) 4Mtpa open pit operation. Highlights included:

  • 260,000oz gold forecast in first year of production (30% increase over the PFS) at an AISC of US$651/oz
  • 2Moz of gold production forecast over first six years for 200,000oz per annum (20% increase over the PFS) at an average AISC of US$804/oz
  • Updated Open Pit Probable Ore Reserves have grown to 34.4Mt at 1.3 g/t Au for 1.45Moz using US$1,407/oz (68% increase over the PFS and 78% of Indicated Mineral Resources)
  • Life of Mine (LOM) mining inventory inclusive of Ore Reserves of 44.9Mt at 1.2 g/t Au for 1.7Moz gold recovered (54% increase over the PFS) for a strip ratio of 6:1 w:o
  • Payback period post-tax of less than 1 year from first production.

Mr Strizek has more than 20 years of experience in gold exploration, resource development and operations of open pit and underground projects ranging from the Kalgoorlie super pit to high grade projects such as Frogs Leg in the Eastern Goldfields, Western Australia. Prior to joining ASX-listed Vital metals limited as Chief Executive Officer, Mr Strizek was involved in project development of mineral, coal and petroleum resources in both Australia and Papua New Guinea.
