Challenger Exploration, (ASX:CEL)
Kris Knauer, Managing Director
Challenger Exploration’s (ASX: CEL) flagship Hualilan Gold Project has a resource of 627,000 Oz gold at 13.7 g/t which is open in all directions. Recent drilling has demonstrated this high-grade skarn mineralisation is underlain by a significant intrusion-hosted gold system with intercepts including 116m at 1.0 g/t gold. The project was locked up in a dispute for the past 15 years and as a consequence had seen no modern exploration until CEL acquired the project last year. Results from our first drilling program included 6.1m @ 34.6 g/t Au, 21.9 g/t Ag, 2.9% Zn and 6.7m @ 14.3 g/t Au, 140 g/t Ag, 7.3% Zn. This drilling intersected high-grade gold over 2 kilometers of strike and extended the known mineralisation along strike and at depth in multiple locations. CEL has started a 45,000 metre multiple rig program and our 2020 program also includes metallurgical test work of key ore types.
Our El Guayabo Project covers 35 sqkms in southern Ecuador and was last drilled by Newmont Mining in 1995 and 1997. Our first results confirm the discovery of large-scale gold system with drill hole ZK-02 returning 134m at 1.0 g/t gold and 4.1 g/t silver. https://challengerex.com/

White Rock Minerals, (ASX:WRM)
Matt Gill, Managing Director (OTCQX:WRMCF)
White Rock Minerals Ltd is an Australian minerals exploration and development company with activities focussed on two projects: Red Mountain and Mt Carrington.
The 100% owned Red Mountain Project, covering 798km2, is located in the Bonnifield District of central Alaska. The Company is exploring for Intrusion Related Gold System (IRGS) mineralisation and high-grade zinc and precious metals volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits.
IRGS exploration is focussed on the Last Chance gold target located within the Tintina Gold Province, host to giant gold deposits including Donlin Creek (45 Moz Au), Fort Knox (13.5 Moz Au) and Pogo (10 Moz Au), which are all Cretaceous aged IRGS deposits.
VMS exploration is focussed in the East Bonnifield District within the Yukon-Tanana Terrane. There are already two high-grade zinc-silver rich deposits with an Inferred Mineral Resource of 9.1 million tonnes @ 157g/t silver, 5.8% zinc and 0.9g/t gold (12.9% ZnEq).
Mt Carrington is a 100% owned advanced gold-silver epithermal project located in the southern New England Fold Belt, northern NSW, Australia. A 2020 Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) Update into the “Gold First” development stage declared an Ore Reserve of 4.1 million tonnes at 1.3g/t gold for 174,000 ounces gold from within an overall Mineral Resource of 352,000 ounces gold. There is also a Silver Mineral Resource estimate totalling 23M ounces. The gold pits are pre-stripped and there is considerable existing infrastructure including a tailings storage facility, freshwater dam, granted Mining Leases, access to State grid power and site office. The PFS financial metrics for this project are robust, especially in this strong gold price environment. Using a conservative A$2,300 per ounce, the 2020 Gold First PFS financial metrics demonstrate a capital payback of just 14 months, an IRR greater than 80% and with free cash flow generated from the gold over its first 5 years of greater than A$120M.
With successful implementation of the Stage One gold development the Company will investigate a Stage Two operation to develop the silver deposits and remaining gold deposits. The Mt Carrington Mining Leases are enveloped by an Exploration Licence (183km²) with demonstrated potential for epithermal and intrusion-related gold, silver and copper mineralisation. White Rock has generated and refined an extensive exploration target portfolio at Mt Carrington since 2010.

Dreadnought Resources, (ASX:DRE)
Dean Tuck, Managing Director
Dreadnought Resources Limited (“Dreadnought”) is focused on delivering significant shareholder returns through the discovery of economic gold, copper and nickel deposits in Western Australia.
Dreadnought will achieve these goals by:
- Identifying projects with significant unrealized potential
- Focusing our technical and financial capital to effectively and efficiently generate and drill exciting mineralised targets
- Maintaining low overheads and keeping the market well informed through continuous activity and news flow
Dreadnought currently has three core projects which include the Illaara Gold & VMS Project, the Tarraji-Yampi Ni-Cu-Au Project, and the Mangaroon Ni-Cu-PGE & Au Project.
The Illaara Gold & VMS Project is located 160km northwest of Kalgoorlie in the Yilgarn Craton. The project covers 75kms of strike along the Illaara Greenstone Belt and is prospective for typical Archean mesothermal lode gold deposits and Cu-Zn VMS mineralisation. Recent drilling within the Metzke’s Corridor has returned high grade gold from two prospects with intercepts including: MZRC016: 3m @ 21.0g/t Au from 85m, MZRC019: 2m @ 39.2g/t Au from 45m, and LMRC005: 1m @ 100.0g/t Au from 57m. Drilling has recently recommenced with both a Diamond and RC rig within the Metzke’s Corridor with target generation work ongoing across the greenstone belt.
The Tarraji-Yampi Ni-Cu-Au Project is located 85kms from Derby and has been locked up as a Defence Reserve since 1978. It presents a rare first mover opportunity with known outcropping mineralisation and historic workings from the early 1900s which have seen no modern exploration. Three styles of mineralisation occur at Tarraji-Yampi including: volcanogenic massive sulphide; Proterozoic Cu-Au; and magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE. Dreadnought has defined a number of attractive targets across each style of mineralisation for drill testing in 2021.
The Mangaroon Ni-Cu-PGE & Au Project is located 230kms north east of Carnarvon in the Gascoyne Province of Western Australia. Mangaroon is prospective for Ni-Cu-PGE magmatic sulphides and high grade orogenic gold. Dreadnought has secured a significant landholding in this largely unexplored and prospective geological terrane and commenced regional scale exploration.
Dean Tuck is an exploration geologist with experience in project generation, discovery and resource definition across a range of commodities and international jurisdictions. Together with his small high performing team, Dean is working hard to make junior exploration great again.
